On camera
We look for people who can speak naturally on camera and adapt to different briefs. If you work in more than one language, show us how that sounds on screen.
Preparing the studio
For prospective members
Applications are welcome from people working on this coast who would rather be approached for suitable work than pursue every opportunity. Presenters, crew, editors, producers, technologists and the strategists who shape a brief before it is produced.
Not a list of open roles. These are the skills that come up most often, and the ones we look for on an application.
We look for people who can speak naturally on camera and adapt to different briefs. If you work in more than one language, show us how that sounds on screen.
Operators who can adapt to the location and the size of the crew. Show us work where you solved a real production constraint, whether that was light, access or timing.
Editors who can take one shoot and cut the film, the short portrait version and the alternate versions without three separate conversations about it.
People who can shape a brief before production begins: define the audience, choose a format and make the creative decisions fit the goal.
Designers and engineers who build the applications, platforms and sites that carry the work, as well as people who use generative models with a clear creative or technical purpose.
Media buyers and performance marketers who can structure a campaign, set up tracking, test the creative and report on which activity produced enquiries.
The person who makes a location day actually happen: access, timings, permissions, and the call that fixes it when the owner changes their mind on the morning.
We read every application. There is no fixed intake round and no ranked waiting list. Your details are held against the disciplines you have given us, and we return to them when a production needs that skill. That may be soon, or it may be some time.
Applying carries no commitment on either side. It is not representation, it does not confer membership, and it is not an offer of work. What it does is put your name in front of the people casting and crewing the next project.
