Parklane Studios · Destination brand · Costa Blanca
Sierra Cortina is the destination brand we are developing around the resort area above Finestrat. Most destination film arrives once a place is finished. This one starts earlier, while there is still something to watch being decided.
The place
Sierra Cortina sits on the slopes of Finestrat, on the Costa Blanca. Behind it is the Puig Campana, the mountain that marks this stretch of coast. Below it are the towers of Benidorm and the bay, a short drive away.
It is mostly a place where people live: villas, townhouses and apartments set among pines and olive trees, with golf courses, a theme park and a resort hotel as neighbours. Quiet streets up here, and one of the busiest seafronts on the coast down there.
That gap is what makes it worth filming. Most films about this coast pick a side, the beach or the mountain. Sierra Cortina has both in one frame, and a community still taking shape between them.
What the brand covers
Sierra Cortina sits above Finestrat with Benidorm below it and the mountains behind. That contrast, resort on one side and limestone on the other, is the thing the brand is actually about. Every film has to hold both in the same frame, because that is what people who live here see each morning.
Padel gives us a way to show how people use this place: the courts, the landscape around them and the time spent together off court. It is played in fours and it is sociable by design, so as much happens around a match as during it. That makes it a good way to film a community rather than a facility.
The people who run the kitchens, courts and front desks are part of a guest's experience. Showing their work gives the destination a human scale. A place is usually presented through its views. We are as interested in the people who make a visit work, because they are what a guest remembers.
The Capitol Club is in pre-launch, while U Club remains a concept. Their development is part of the destination story, with opening dates and membership details left to the club teams to confirm.
The clubs
The Capitol Club is in pre-launch; U Club is an earlier concept. Opening dates, membership and access arrangements have not been confirmed, so we leave those details to the teams developing each club.

A padel club taking shape at Sierra Cortina, above the coast near Finestrat and Benidorm. The club has not published an opening date, and membership, booking and guest arrangements are still being worked out by its own team. Parklane's involvement is in how the club is told, not in who gets access to it.
The club's own page
A wellness and lifestyle club planned for the same area, built around water, recovery and the Mediterranean way of spending a morning. It is earlier than The Capitol Club: the facilities, opening and membership are not confirmed, so what is shown here is concept work rather than a finished room.

How the brand works
Sierra Cortina is something Parklane owns and develops, not a campaign made to order. That changes what we can do. We can follow the place for as long as it takes, publish as things happen, and say plainly what is finished and what is not.
The aim is an audience for the place itself: people who live here, people who visit and people deciding whether to. Partners join where they are part of the story.
What it is being built to carry
None of these has been released yet. This page will change as they are.
Sierra Cortina sits alongside La Viva Costa, our film brand about life on this coast. Both are Parklane originals, developed on our own account.
